Jane Orr MSc, CTBC graduated from the Dog Training Internship Academy’s “Certificate of Training and Behavior Consultation” program in 2014.  Prior to joining The Mutty Professor training team she ran her own dog walking, training and boarding business in California, offering private 1-2-1 coaching as well as running puppy and dog group training classes.  She now lives in Chepstow with her 4 year old son.

Jane’s passion for animals started at an early age. She grew up around rescue dogs (plus cats, rats, rabbits, and hamsters) and as a teenager she volunteered at animal shelters eventually getting a job with the RSPCA in Bath.

Jane’s main goal as a trainer is to reduce stress in the lives of both dogs and their guardians. Through the use of  proven, science-based training methods  positive and motivational training methods she seeks to achieve sustainable results and strong canine-human bonds.   She strives to dispel the myths that tell you you need to “dominate” your dog to train them.  This frees you from the stress and guilt punishment-based methods can bring, and allows you to be the kind and gentle dog parent that you want to be and have a well behaved dog and loving companion.
