BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATIONS

We are one of the highest qualified and most extensively accredited team of training and behaviour professionals in Bristol. As Clinical Animal Behaviourists, we have to adhere with a strict code of conduct (ASAB & APBC) keep our knowledge up to date and apply kind and ethical methods.

Accessibility: On special request, we can do video/audio reports and phone inquiries. These are strictly limited to those who are unable to work comfortably with a text based system.

What we can help you with: We are qualified to assist with all problem behaviours, such as; anxieties, phobias, abnormal repetitive behaviours, separation anxiety, human or dog directed aggression, predatory behaviours including livestock worrying, arousal related issues, excessive barking behaviours & abnormal eating habits.

What to expect: In-person sessions at your home, at one of our private field locations or on location (your usual walking route).
Remote (online) training on request.
We also have permission to train around livestock and have multiple confident, social helper dogs to assist our training when needed.

Vet referral: By law, only a veterinarian can rule out health conditions as a cause for problem behaviour. Therefore, all professionals should work strictly via veterinary referral. We work closely with most veterinarians in Bristol and your vet should be happy to refer to us. Please download the vet referral form here and please return with the dog’s full medical history.

Insurance Claims: As accredited/certified Clinical Animal Behaviourists, most insurers cover the cost of our work. Making a claim generally should not affect your premium.

Payment: We accept payment by BACS or card in full or across three instalments to help you spread the cost out over time.

Single assessments: £200-500*
First Follow Up Session: £130 (1.5-2 hours)

I can’t recommend Roz’s puppy training enough. She has very small groups so can match her advice to each breed and puppy personality … and owners expertise! No question is too small and her relaxed approach and sense of humour make the classes fun but very informative.

The individual support is fabulous – her advice on how to acclimatise a young puppy to become a school dog was very useful and I now have a lovely, well trained and relaxed dog working beautifully in a special school.

The online support from the puppy booklet at our initial enquiry and Roz’s Facebook page with ongoing support with issues at any age shows the level of commitment she shows to the puppies and owners she works with.

Roz has unlocked the language of dog for us. As first time dog owners we are starting to feel confident with all aspects of dog training for our cocker spaniel. We would definitely recommend.
