Intensive dog behaviour programme

From the moment we had our first assessment with Emily, we knew we were in good hands. We immediately felt at ease and that the training would be positive and effective.

After our second practical session where we went out with Emily, for the first time in several years, we were able to allow Mia to approach another dog without reaction. Her expert guidance gave us confidence and a massive relief that we could go out and meet other dogs without any escalation.

We would highly recommend her and The Mutty Professor. They are professional, friendly and most important of all really know their stuff!

The Mutty Professor was recommended to me by my neighbour. My terrier puppy was showing very early behavioural issues that I needed to tackle. Emily came to the house, took her time listening to me and assessing the situation. She set up six sessions to tackle the issues I was having. Emily‘s patience and positive training for both me and the dog were fantastic. I cannot recommend enough.

I used the "walk and train" service and had the pleasure of Hayley as our trainer. Hayley is calm and patient with my super pully turbo spaniel. She is knowledgeable and consistent in her approach and my dog loves her!

I am so impressed with all the Team Mutty trainers and the excellent resources and webinars. Julia helped me after an increase in resource guarding behaviour and fear of the vets. Julia is an excellent listener and trainer, she’s very knowledgeable and a lovely lovely person. After your help with the vets, Cass is much more relaxed now with the extra pain medication and I understand more about how to help him. I’m still learning but with Team Mutty’s help I’m a better dog mum.

When we adopted Tina she was very nervous and found the world quite overwhelming. After 3 sessions with Emily (and countless informative emails with tips and tricks) she’s a completely different dog! With Emily’s help she is fully house trained, is now sleeping downstairs through the night by herself and is growing in confidence out on walks. I just wanted to say thank you so much for this brilliantly curated webinar on Adolescent Dogs and for sharing all of your own insights and experiences too. So appreciated and so helpful in terms of building my own views and understanding of this complex subject.

I am a veterinarian but I took the course to see if there was anything new I could try with one of my own dogs. He's struggled with reactivity for years. Your approach to leash handing and how to manage dogs who are somewhat socially motivatedstruck a cord with us, I've been feeling like we'd hit a plateau for a while now. We've made adjustments based on your talk and I have noticed a difference! He seems more comfortable navigating tricky situations with me. Keep up the good work!

I now have a totally different dog! Walks are an absolute dream, he is brilliant both off and on the lead, and I also learnt so much re. how I should deal with the early signs of over-arousal and how to manage his behaviour. I am a million times more confident with him, and I can now have friends and family over without the fear of him hurting someone when he gets over excited. I have my best friend back and I cannot thank Emily enough for her help!

Roz has unlocked the language of dog for us. As first time dog owners we are starting to feel confident with all aspects of dog training for our cocker spaniel. We would definitely recommend.
