Julia
Julia has a degree in Animal Behaviour and a PGCE in Early Years and Primary Education and has worked in both professions.
She began working with animals as a teenager at an animal sanctuary which inspired her to take up the offer of a degree in Animal Behaviour. Julia has enjoyed working with a variety of pets, marine animals, reptiles and more currently with dogs in all contexts such as 1-2-1 sessions, puppy classes, adolescent classes and Hoopers.
Julia also worked as an effective primary school teacher and leader in various roles for over a decade. Where one of her areas of expertise was supporting children and families with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Julia now brings both of her passions together as a Kids Around Dogs approved professional enabling her to work with whole families, bringing her experience and a compassionate approach to her work.
