Maarja
Maarja has been training dogs professionally for five years since studying with the Institute of Modern Dog Training, but she has been absolutely dog-mad for as long as she can remember.
Having seen how her old rescue Staffy overcame anxiety and started to love life simply through bonding and trick training 10 years ago, Maarja became determined to share that joy with others—both dogs and owners alike. Thus, she has a massive soft spot for pups who might be a bit worried about life, helping them build confidence and find joy.
Similarly, Maarja very much enjoys working with dogs who might have too much energy for their own good, finding creative ways to channel that spirit, and helping people understand their dogs better. Ultimately, being a sports lover herself, she loves being able to provide an active outlet for people to enjoy with their dogs through teaching Hoopers, Rally, Tricks, and play.
Outside of work, Maarja is enjoys geeking out doing scent detection with her own dogs and is getting back into canicross with her rescue Malinois Seth. She will happily talk your ear off about either.
